Emma has worked in the field of nutrition and dietetics for over a decade, across a range of areas in both private practice and the hospital setting, predominantly in gastrointestinal conditions. Emma is committed to providing a safe and nurturing space to every consultation; you will feel heard, understood and empowered to reach and maintain your individual nutrition goals.
Emma thinks broadly of how to best manage her client’s health, and uses considerate investigations, a listening ear and various evidence-based strategies to develop a nutrition plan which is unique and tailored to you.
She wholeheartedly believes in the importance of collaborating with a health care team to achieve sustainable outcomes. She works closely alongside various health professionals and support team members to achieve your desired outcomes.
Emma specialises in the following areas of practice;
Gastrointestinal disease & conditions; Emma specifically enjoys working with complex cases of gastrointestinal conditions to utilise nutritional therapy to help you feel symptom relief and enjoy food again!
Eating Disorders/disordered eating; Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician-Dietitian (CEDC-D).
Neurodivergence, specifically ADHD.
Tube feeding; Specialist and Credentialed clinician in the management of gastrostomy (PEG) feeding tubes.
Neurological conditons; specifically Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
Emmas works with older adolescence (>16yrs) and adults.
Being a girl from the country, when she isn’t in the office, Emma loves getting a good dose of ‘vitamin N’ aka ‘nature’, often heading to her parent’s farm to visit her cows, or going for walks and adventures, which usually finish with a glass of wine and a cheeseboard of course!
